    The flowers were for my sister Jean; it was her 90th birthday. She was thrilled to receive your roses. She phoned me soon after receiving them and said this was the first time someone had given her long stem roses! She was born at a difficult time in England. She was only 4 years old when WWII started, and it took a long time for England to get on its feet again. But we managed. Jean is a very nice person and helped me when I arrived in Canada in 1974, 10 years after her arrival with her family. I live in Saskatchewan now so I can't visit easily, so I was very happy that you made her day.
